Garden staple is made from metal wire, used to hold down lawn and landscape fabric, it is economical and good to help you to get the job done. Many wire thicknesses 11gauge, 12gauge, 9 gauge, 8 gauge are available, Lengths of spikes are from 6in to 12in, to anchor into different hardness of soil. There are square top staple and round top staple, and we provide OEM service, produce according to specifications from customer. The square top staple is used for holding down landscape fabric and weed, animal fence, and the round top staple is used for controlling pipes. Note: How to choice your pins?
1- for soft soil, the thinner wire, means high gauge number like 11 gauge is better, and the size should larger such as 9″ x 1″ x 9″ or more
2- for compact soil, the thicker wire, that is low gauge number as 9 gauge should be choiced, smaller size could be good, like 6″ x 1″ x 6″
3- about anti-rust, electro galvanized is good to use indoor, hot dipped galvanized is suitable for outdoor use, and stainless steel pin is the best anti corrosion material for long time use. But the rust of surface usually has no effect on the strength, and you need to move the sod staple by wearing a glove to protect your hand. So depending on your choice.
